John Morgan McLachlan, CIC, is a principal with McLachlan Kane. He is a veteran in the insurance industry, and has been a Certified Insurance Counselor since 1985. He runs the commercial and personal lines department for McLachlan Kane, as well as Human Resources and Merger and Acquisitions department. Mr. McLachlan has been instrumental in McLachlan Insurance's first merger with Insurance Affiliates, and has since overseen several more acquisitions for McLachlan Kane. Mr. McLachlan earned his B.S Degree in Insurance from the University of Hartford, is the secretary of the board for Old Cemetery of Somerville, and also serves on the board of Somerset Valley YMCA, and the 200 Club of Somerset County. He was born in Somerville, where he and his wife have raised three boys, and still resides here today. He is also a member of Raritan Valley Country Club.
