Brian S. Kern, Esq., is a principal with McLachlan Kane Insurance Agency, Inc., an agency specializing in professional liability insurance, and of counsel with Kern Augustine Conroy and Schoppman, PC, one of the nation's largest law firms devoted predominantly to the needs of physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Mr. Kern is admitted to the NJ State Bar Association, and earned his law degree from Seton Hall Law School. He is an expert on the medical malpractice market, and frequent speaker before many medical organizations, including state, county, and specialty medical societies. He is involved with many organizations related to healthcare, and frequently writes for their respective publications. Mr. Kern sits on the advisory council for NJ Physicians, where he helped create the Medical Malpractice Defense Academy, a group of the top medical malpractice defense attorneys in NJ, and is also an affiliate member of MGMA.

Prior to earning his law license Mr. Kern held his series 7 and 66 financial security licenses. Currently he holds his property and casualty, life and health insurance licenses, and is a graduate of The University of Maryland of College Park.
